How do we turn fleeting street moments into compelling visual stories?

This two-day, hands-on workshop at the Indian Photo Festival (IPF), Hyderabad, led by Swarat Ghosh and Arindam Thokder, explores the art of seeing, shooting, editing and sequencing photographs into meaningful narratives.

Drawing inspiration from their own work, the visual language of cinema, the compositions and colours of paintings, and renowned street photographers worldwide, participants will learn to read the streets, anticipate moments, and work with light and composition.

Through practical street assignments, discussions and constructive image critiques, participants will develop a sharper visual understanding, learn to identify compelling frames, and weave individual photographs into cohesive visual stories that resonate.
