Indian Photo Festival presents a 2 day intensive Street Photography workshop on intuition & the art of story telling by, Vineet Vohra & Gulnara Samoilova, from 19th-20th Nov 2022.

​

Street Photography is a very rewarding, but also one of the hardest genres to master. Organised for the passionate photographer who wish to find order in chaos on the streets, this workshop aims to solve the puzzle of capturing compelling photographs in split seconds.

​

Vineet & Gulanara will accompany participants on the streets, observe them and offer guidance throughout the session. Participants will also have a chance to observe the mentors at work and learn their techniques.

The mentor will offer constructive advice and alternative perspectives to participants in the ensuing daily review, and help them to improve their current work.

Requirements:-
Skill Level: Intermediate
Requirement: Basic understanding of photography fundamentals (ISO, aperture & shutter speed) and camera operations.
Equipment: Digital camera with fixed angle lens (24-35mm preferred) or zoom lens, laptop with basic editing software
Class capacity: 20 pax

Schedule:-

Day 1 :

9am-12pm - Lecture on how to approach street photography & achieve decisive moment, role of intuition and anticipation in street photography.
12pm -2pm : lunch break
2:15pm meet up at Old City, Hyderabad
2:30pm -5:30pm - Shoot with the mentor and on the job training and have one on one experience shooting.

Day 2: 
 

6:30am-10am - Meet and shoot at Charminar, Hyderabad
10:30am-12:30pm - Selection of images with the help of mentor.
12:30 -1:30 - lunch break
1:30pm - 5:30pm - In room sessions
a) Critiquing of images and analyze the growth.
b) Introduction to "gestalt vision".
c) Room for improvement.

• All fees are nonrefundable if you withdraw from a workshop less than one month prior to its start date, unless we are able to fill your seat. 

• IPF reserves the right to cancel any workshop up to one week prior to the start date if the workshop is under-enrolled, in which case a full refund will be issued. 

• A minimum of Ten students are required to run this workshop.
